A nice addition to the basic bed is our top tent. It’s a great way to bring some play value into the bedroom! The top tent can easily and quickly be assembled and disassembled. It gives a nice sense of privacy, but because it has a large window it’s not too overwhelming.

Sleep solution for 2 kids is a piece of cake – you simply lock 2 Maxtrix beds on top of each other and create a rock-solid bunk bed. Our unique “Rock lock” mechanism safely compresses the legs onto each other, via a solid steel bolt. This mechanism, which solely relies on steel to compress the wood pieces together, gives you one of the strongest and safest connections in a bed system – and makes any of our bed configurations absolutely rock solid!

All fabrics are 100% cotton, and feature a high quality textured chambray weave.

Our optional 1600 UNDERBED STORAGE DRAWERS (Article Displayed) feature non-scuff, ball bearing rubber castors and have an extra solid drawer bottom – with plenty of space to store bedding and toys. The storage drawers are full depth (39 inches – as deep as the Twin bed) and each drawer is finished on both faces (so you can pull the drawers out from both sides of a bed).

The perfect “sleepover solution” is a 1200 TRUNDLE BED (Article Displayed) that fits snugly under the Maxtrix daybed or bunk bed. Just pull it out and the guest bed is made! The trundle bed features non-scuff ball bearing rubber castors, is finished on both faces of the trundle (so you can pull the trundle out from both sides of a bed). The trundle also includes a slat roll.

There comes a time when girls just need more space to play! All you have to do to create more play space is to add a low loft extension kit onto your existing day bed. In a few easy steps the regular Maxtrix bed has turned into a stylish low loft combination. You have a choice of a straight or an angle ladder for easy access to the bed. We offer beautiful fabric solutions to create a fully functioning playhouse, with windows and doors, right under your new low loft solution. To make full use of your new playground, we offer a sturdy slide that can easily be added to any of our low loft beds.

School is starting! It’s easy to convert your Maxtrix™ bedroom into a young lady’s study. Just add a student desk and storage units to the existing day bed, and create the perfect sleep, study & storage combinations.

The ultimate space saving storage solution is possible with Maxtrix™. Most storage units are designed to fit exactly under the Maxtrix™ low and high loft beds. That’s why they need to be square and rectangular in shape. All storage units have approx. 1 inch height adjustable cylindrical shaped legs, with a nylon anti-scratch pad on each leg.

Alternatively, you can “dress up” all storage units by adding a crown and base kit to the top and bottom of the storage units, to convert the furniture into freestanding show pieces. The crown and base kits are available with most storage units and come with 2½ inch high legs with an anti scratch pad on each leg.

Bed Selection All Maxtrix beds are made out of solid, select birch wood, and come in 2 colors: Solid White and Natural Birch. All beds feature chamfered edges for an extra smooth look. Our bolts are designed with a stylish chrome finish. To build up bed combinations, Maxtrix uses an amazingly solid “rock lock” mechanism that allows for a regular bed to be easily converted into a multitude of options, such as a captain’s bed, a low loft, high loft or a bunk bed. Our system safely compresses the leg extensions onto the bed legs via a solid steel bolt, and gives you one of the strongest and safest connections for a bed system – which makes any of our bed combinations rock solid! All Maxtrix beds come with a slat roll of 14 slats, so there is no need to buy an extra Bunkie board.
